i hope all of you can pause for a moment today to really give thanks to the Good Lord for all the blessings that we enjoy in this country. i was fortunate enough to be able to do a mission trip to belize this last year and witnessed first-hand how much different living conditions are in other parts of the world. despite the political chasms and other issues here, we are truly blessed.
i, for one will stop during some of the madness, hustle and bustle of holidays with family to reflect and thank God today for ALL of my blessings. hopefully you can do the same. chicago jerry
Jerry, I too would like to stop today and give thanks. I will be blessed to do so later today with most of my family. The LORD has blessed me with everything I could ever need and way to many of my wants. As a Red Cross volunteer I too have seen many people and many places that have nothing. May GOD bless our nation. I am thankful for my POG family. You all live in a special place in my heart. Hank

Jerry thanks for the excellent post and thanks for your time you spent in Central America. I have spent time in these areas and it certainly makes me thank God for our wonderful County. We are so Blessed and I will, as you say, reflect and thank God for our Blessings.
