Title: 1963 Greeves Starmaker
Post by: clayman on November 23, 2012, 10:32:00 PM
I am trying to help a friend sell his 1963 Greeves 250 Starmaker. As you may or may not know, there were only 87 of these produced in 1963. Tom White has one in So. Cal. at the Early Years of Motocross Museum and, according to his story on the motorcycle in Motocross Action Magazine, it is possibly the only remaining Starmaker in existance. Well, there's another one, as my friend has one he'd like to sell. Even the Greeves Factory in England is interested in purchasing it but shipping costs and the fact that it would deplete the budget needed to produce their new line, they can't afford it at this time. It won't be cheap. Tom White figures his is worth close to $40K. This one would be less than half that amount.
