Title: Cleaning clutch plates
Post by: Keith Meatyard on December 08, 2012, 10:05:20 PM
What's a good method to clean clutch plates from a 175 motor (old nasty motor for parts) I just tore down?  The fiber plates look good with a little surface rust around the metal edges.  Glass bead, mineral spirits?

Keith,

Soak them in some kerosene for a little while.  Will clean them right up.
