Title: 1974 125 Six Days Seat Interchange
Post by: Darvin Jahnke on December 13, 2012, 12:16:17 PM
I have a 1974 125 Six Days that is missing the seat. Are there other models or years of seats or seat pans that will interchange? I warned you guys that I would have a lot of questions and now that I have a project I'll probably be asking a lot. Thanks for any help.

All the CMF frames  will use any of CMF bases ,you might have to flip over the rear brackets of the 250 or 400 bases to go on your 125 a bit easier .( or maybe its the other way around on the flipping)

Darvin, I have a '75 "long/tall" seat on my '74 Six Day which originally came to me with a "short/tall" seat. The 1975 long/tall "GP" seat has an aluminum base and didn't require any adjustment on the brackets to fit the CMF frame. Make sure to test fit a new rear fender (if applicable) with seats bolted in place. I learned this the hard way with an earlier installation and a Falk enduro fender![:0]

Good Luck - Have Fun!!
