Hi everyone, I've some Wiseco pistons (168P6) with different rings?? The numbers on the ring package are the same: 2185LC.
One set of the rings have a carbon black color, the other set a white/gray (coating type??).Does anyone know what the difference is between them?

I checked my Wiseco stock and it looks like I have the same in some of the boxed ring sets, some have two gray. Yes it does look and feel like a coating over the molly metal fill of the ring . LG
