here is the 400 big brother of the 250 that i recently finished up. they were both from a father son team in youngstown oh. they sat in a barn for quite some time. i went through the motor, new crank bearings, seals new piston and bore. it came with a white mx tank, not pictured. not sure what pipe will be on it when complete but it will be a good one. leaving in the morning for my mission trip to belize so on hold for 11 days. no phone and limited email. when complete and sorted out it will be up for sale. stay tuned chi jer [8D]

here's some more progress. obviously not complete yet but getting closer [8D] hopefully i get to take it for a spin this week. it needs a front # plate, tank graphics, clutch cable and few other small odds and ends but it should be a good one.

I was wondering why you mounted the shocks backwards, and won't the reserviors hit the LH numberplate under compression? Mike

good eye mike. the rear shocks are just holding up the rear end at the moment. nothing is tight. actually had he remove the upper shock bolt on the right side to clear the pipe when installing. changing the orientation will be one of the things i need to finesse before i ride it. chi jer
Looks nice and coming along very well. Someone will be very lucky and ready to race!
You bet.
I can't wait to get my 250 from you Jerry
Blessings

its pretty complete, i want to put a new seat cover on it but it seems to run well for as much as i could ride it with the ice on the ground. not perfect but pretty nice and mostly original. a couple of guys here have contacted me with interest in purchasing it. :D chi jer
