I have my RacerX collector copy at home and trot it out every once in a while to read, especially in this weather.

I was a big Peanuts fan as a kid. I had scapbooks full of Peanuts comic strips that I cut out daily from the local paper. Then around 1968 I discovered motorcycles...
Sure would love to have that RACER X collectors mag. I'll have to keep an eye out for it on evil bay.

my dad had those strips hanging on the garage wall for yrs back in the 70s

I believe this motocross cult age of Charlie Brown was in the 70's, which correlates perfectly with the explosion of dirt bikes. The last clip of Charlie and Linus googling over new bikes in the shop says it all: kids + bikes = fun!
