I have a 1980 nos mx tank. I am building a 1980 125. My first thought was to put it on there. It would look very sweet! However, this will be a rider and that tank belongs on a show bike. So heres the deal. It will cost me about $325 to get a full set of plastic, including a tank cover for a brown 81 tank I could use. If anyone wants the NOS tank for 325, Ill sell it, if not Ill use it. Has the KTM and the 1980 stripe on it and they are kind of shilaced over as they use to do on the 1980 tanks. Very nice looking.
I also have a 1980 NOS seat I would do the same thing with. Its the taller one that goes up a little farther on the tank. $325.
