All of the GNCC's are going to be broadcast live on the internet this year. On todays live broadcast from Florida, John Penton was interviewed by Shane Watts.
Here's a link to a rerun of that show:

You can watch the whole video, but it's 3 hours and 35 minutes long, or you can fast forward to the 156:25 mark to see John's interview where he talks about his upcoming movie, and fights with Shane over the microphone.:D
Penton, with the pass, Watts trailing, trying to catch up, Watts shows a wheel, NO! Penton stuffs him for the win! Way too cool! [8D]
Mick
Mick,
Now that was a nice summary of events! LOL!!:D
Thanks for the link Gary.
It is interesting how John Penton points out in the interview just how high he holds the improvements to the drive chain over the years in his ranking of significant developments in the off road motorcycle.
I am pretty sure that it was Billy Uhl who once stated that if there is such a thing as reincarnation he wants to come back as a chain on an ISDT motorcycle... If someone knows the exact quote please feel free to post it.

This Jerry West photo was taken at the last check during the 1974 ISDT in Camerino, Italy. It shows the bucket of lube that was always at hand at the check points. Gotta take care of that chain.
