Title: Skunk helmets for sale to ISDT/E vets only
Post by: Jeff D on March 31, 2013, 12:11:03 PM
If you're an official Six Day vet, here's an opportunity to get a brand new Vemar skunk helmet from Motonation.  The rest of us can sit and drool, cuz if you can't prove your Six Days or MX des Nations credentials, they won't sell you one.  Got this from Fred Cameron who received it from Bill Berroth (who works at Motonation), both ISDT vets.

>>USA "Skunk Stripe" Vemar VRX9 helmets available ONLY to past and present ISDT & ISDE riders!!!!

Recently Vemar was building a "skunk stripe" VRX9 helmet for a former American ISDT rider and the folks at Motonation thought...."If we can do this for one former ISDT rider why not offer it to all former ISDT or ISDE riders?" After all, buying a plain helmet and getting the famed "skunk stripes" painted on it is both time consuming and expensive and seldom comes out as good as when created by a helmet manufacture directly.

Thus Motonation will offer two and only two production runs of the Vemar VRX9 helmet with the "skunk stripe" paint scheme, images attached.

Orders received via email to [email protected] by May 1st 2013 will be delivered this coming September.

Orders received via email to [email protected] by August 1st 2013 will be delivered this coming December.

Sizes available are XS thru XXL.

These helmets are only available rider direct as Motonation will verify the "bona fides" of each rider's order. Only official USA ISDT-ISDE or MX Des Nations riders have earned the right to wear this paint scheme and thus Motonation will only make this special offer directly to these riders. Motonation will verify that each rider is on the AMA's records of team USA riders before accepting his/her order.

Price per helmet is $425 plus tax and freight. A $250 deposit is required at time of ordering.
