Raymond,
The Kenny Roberts Pentons were avaialble as a complete bike or as select components to build one, and I have one that was previous owned by Ron C. as well, that has never had the stock fiberglass painted with the exception of the flames on the seat pan. Actually those are decals. Mike

Hello Penton Enthusiast,
I have just purchased the #3 KRP bike mostly complete with a 400 engine. If anybody can give some history of the KRP bike It would be appreciated.
Being a district 36 racer of the 60's-70's I too was part of the Oakdale CA pioneer scrambles/shorttrack era.
In our Penton collection is original 73 Jackpiner New, 77 400 GS, 77 MC5 400 and the KRP #3. We also have a KR mono shock with Morris Mag wheels with the Showa aluminum tank and tail.
Please visit my web site //www.vintagehuskyrestorations.com to see some cool stuff
Curious as to how much an unrestored w/o engine, example is worth as I have a project I would like to do. Thanks
