Does anyone know if EBC ever manufactured brake shoes for Pentons and if so what the model # is?? Does anyone have any to sell? Or maybe know of any brake shoes from another manufacture will fit? I'd like to get some extended wear brake shoes to use on my bike for the ISDT reunion ride. If that's not an option I guess I'll be looking for some NOS Penton shoes.

I was carrying the EBC brand of shoes for Pentons up until about 2 years ago. Then EBC changed their policy on distribution of their shoes and I was no longer able to obtain them. Fortunately I found a distributor for Ferodo shoes. The guys racing their Pentons prefer these shoes over the EBC brand because they are sintered shoes and grip better. I had some difficulties with the distributor last year in getting them to keep a supply of Penton shoes in their inventory for me. All of that has been taken care of and I have plenty of these shoes now in stock.

Thanks Al. The bike is in Connecticut and I'm in Texas. I'll place an order for the shoes once I go up to New England in June and make certain which shoes are in the bike. I'm worried there is a slight possibility that I might order the wrong ones since 76 was a transition year for the bikes. I'll email some pics of the bike to your email address. Maybe you can determine which are the correct shoes from the pictures.
