Hello fellow poggers,
THe kick starter on my 76 250 engages about 1/4 way through the stroke. Is there any way to get it to engage near the top?

You will have to split the cases to fix the engagment.Sounds like the spring is weak or in the wrong hole. Hope this helps

Really? Oh man. I've never had the cases apart, so maybe the spring is weak. Can I buy a new spring?

Al B. has them, but as Gary indicated, you will have to split the cases to work on it.
