Title: Needle jet question

My 74 Jackpiner is running rich in mid range I was going to lean out the needle jet 1 notch is lean up or do I move the clip down?

If it is a Bing and it does not have a brand new needle and needle jet, they are probably worn and need to be replaced. A worn needle/needle jet will cause a mid range rich condition that needle clip adjustments wont fix.
