Title: Chain Guards for KTM Engines
Post by: Daniel P. McEntee on June 24, 2013, 06:16:09 PM
I'm working on some 250 and 400 project bikes, and one is getting near the point of running and that means putting on a chain. I have both types of chain guards for the '73 through'77 KTM engines available to me, but was wondering if there was a preference out there for either one. The flat plate design is dependant on what size counter shaft sprocket is used, and I think the flat, curved steel guard covers more ground and protects a bit more. Any other opinions or experiences?
   Thanks a lot in advance,
