Dave Duarte, President of Penton West, Sacramento CA, suffered a heart attack and a head aneurysm. The information came to me via Bob Hannah who got it from a mutual friend. Bob was not aware of Dave's current condition but assumes it is critical. I have talked to a couple of Caif friends and found they had not heard of the incident that took place early this morning, or some time last night.
Dave was one of the good guys in the industry and a key player in Penton And Hi Point.
I know many of you know Dave and join me in best wishes for a speedy recovery. I expect to learn more regarding his condition and will keep you up to date.
