Title: Al Born Commemorative TShirt Offer
Post by: Admin on August 18, 2013, 08:29:39 PM
The 2013 limited edition POG shirt is honoring the Penton Owners Group beloved friend, the late Al Born. Al was very near and dear to our hearts and was a true gentleman in every way. The Steel Tanker shown on this shirt was Al's bike which he bought new. It was the third Penton ever produced and the first one sold to the public. The serial number of this bike is V003. The bike continues to stay in the Born family to this day.

On Saturday night at the banquet for the ISDTRR, I wore my Al Born shirt, just my way of having Al along at the banquet, which was always one of his favorite ISDTRR activities. I was amazed, but then again not really surprised, at how many folks looked at the shirt and instantly started to tell of their love and admiration of Al. Al's name came up constantly over the weekend and many Al Born stories were told.

Thank You Scott Brogan for designing such a wonderful and appropriate commemorative shirt for Al Born.

Yeah.  Traveling without Al & Dane is truly a sad point.  I sure miss the two of them, as we all do.  All of our memories of them will keep them alive in our hearts. And our lives are more full having known them. God bless them both.
See you down Old Dusty.

Is anyone planning on attending the Barber's Vintage Festival this year and selling Al Born shirts ?  If so I will buy one or two there.

Just got my Al Born Penton t-shirt. Scott this is the best shirt you've done. Everything is just perfect, Al would have been proud. Dave
