Anyone going up to the event this month? It is their 60 year running, and they are running both modern and vintage classes...

Michael, I think it's a great video. I rate it as a 9.5 out 10 One of the best parts is when when they do an interview with Mr. John Penton in 2009, and during one of the old races.
The main cast of gentlemen in this video provide the viewer with a great audio and visual history of the event -- complete with gags, and pranks:D;)...I think it's worth the money. I watch at least twice year, and really never get tired of it. Maybe one day, I'll give this race a try too!

The video is a must have if for nothing else, the old bikes in action. Having John as part of it is a bonus. This isnt a documentary, but just a fun look at the event and it's history. My copy has beeen veiwed a dozen times at least.
Yes Jeff, Helmut will be there. This will be number 16 for him!

I bought this video last week, ive emailed and called to contact when it will be shipped etc. But, i can't get anyone to let me know if they have it in stock or if they have shipped it. I paid through paypal so i will give it another week or so before i dispute it.

You were just inquiring about whether to order it on Wednesday, and here it is only Monday. Chill and give them just a little leeway to respond or you get the package. I'll bet you opened your Chistmas presets as soon as they appeared under the tree when your parents weren't home, LOL! Mike

Negative Ghostrider!!! Here lately ive been reading on other sites about people getting burned on bikes, parts, projects not being completed in a timely manner, people not getting what they paid for etc.. It seems to be happening more and more. Also, ive experienced it first hand. So i may be a little gun shy. Thats the reason why i "inquired" in the first place. POG members seem to be straight shooters. Thats also the reason i posted my comment about not recieving any type of confirmation from the supplier in the first place. I thought maybe one of the members that bought the video could shed me some light of how long it took their dvd to arrive etc. If i buy something from you and i call and leave a voice message to at least let me know if the video is still available, a call back would be nice or even an email.. I agree i pulled the trigger too quick on buying it especially after reading JC quote of "if it's still available". Lastly, thats why i stated i was going to give them another week to respond before i stepped it further. And no Smart A** i never touched my presents until christmas morning! Are you trying to tell me santa isn't real? ;)
P.S.To the OP I didn't mean to hi jack your thread. This is the racing section and i know xmas presents, and easter bunnies have nothing to do with it. And i apologise further for my rant. And Mike Winter when you read this if you have any issues or more low blow comments please call or text me:D
