Just picked up a 1982 KTM 250 MC it needs a kick starter assy

Evo,

I've got an 82 KTM 250 GS(WR), and I ended pulling the original KS because it would "always" come loose. I've talked with a couple about these KS, and we all agreed that the OEM KS was not a great design. In the end I spoke with Al Buehner and he advised that I try the 14mm kickstart lever on his website: A - #52-33-036-244 -$54 each, 125 & 175 lever assy. Fits 14mm shaft. NOTE: will also fit 1981 250 engines.

I installed it and it has never loosened one bit. IMHO, it's way better than the OEM KS! FYI: You may have to grind the KS bolt just a smidgeon, to ensure that it clears the frame.
