Looking for a "good" used (or NOS...?) wassel tank to help kick start my wassel restoration project. Prefer an OEM tank that has no dents however will consider exceptions...
Also looking for a complete exhaust system...thanks!!

I can't believe what these tanks are going for.
I was watching these two on ebay.

Yes, quite spendy indeed. I remain optimistic that I'll find on for a "reasonable" price...:)
iyaoyas, I'll keep an eye out for you also. Mine is used specifically for competition. I ended up taking the tank off, do to dinging it up and it getting in the way. I converted the top frame tube in to the gas tank. I put an in-line petcock on and it holds about 5/8ths of a quart. Never measured how far I can go, but I haven't been to a single Trials event that I couldn't do a complete loop and sections with just the frame tube. Gives me more room for my knees. And I don't miss the way the tank goes straight up at the front of the seat, which has come in to play more than a couple times. It was get rid of the tank or start wearing a cup.
That's interesting...reminds me of the time Buell tried their hand at a fuel in frame design but unfortunately their supplier couldn't make it work (safely) so it never went into production. Can you post a picture or two for use to see what your bike looks like w/o the tank?
Sure, but it aint pretty.

Simple is better...function over form. Looks good!
