I have one, but need to keep the wheels for another project bike, but shipping would be expensive unless you are having other items shipped by container on a ship. I can take some pics and email you tomorrow.

I have a '78 swingarm and have no idea if it would fit a 77 even if you wanted it.  $50 plus shipping.  If you pursue this it might be sensible to pick a single consolidation point in the US where as much as possible can be collected without charge.

I have some other miscelleaneous parts from a '77 (apparently though still up in the air a very late '77) and a few parts from a '78.

I have a complete, functional engine from a '77 with about 12-15 hours on it the only rub is that it is installed in a '74 at the moment and my '74 engine needs to be swapped back into its original frame.

Seems too complcated but if you want to discuss I am happy to do so.

Yes a "78" swingarm will fit a "77" frame.  Shock mounts on the "78" are about 1" more forward than the "77". Other than that, they are identical.

I sent pics of a rolling chassis, with the info that I want to keep the wheels, but Mike hasn't gotten back to me. It may be that the shipping is detrimental. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to ship a package the size of a frame, approximately 36" x 32" x 14" to Australia that doesn't cost $500 or more? Mike

Mike, I bought a frame about a year ago, and all the seller did, was to wrap the frame in plastic wrap.  He charged me $40 to get it across the country.....
