Title: MC5 REAR FENDER
Post by: Lee Brown on December 08, 2013, 09:26:49 PM
Hey poggers has anybody purchased a rear fender from DC plastic for a 1977 mc5,Once I mounted the fender to seat bottom than mounted seat and fender to bike, this fender was the most crooked thing I have ever seen, And I have mounted alot of fenders in my time, I than removed fender from seat. And realized the actuall molding of the fender itself was horrible,Anybody els have this same issue thx.

The original that the pattern was made from was not the greatest, but Tom assured me that he could improve on it when making the pattern, which turned out not to be the case, and although it can be bent into shape, it will probably always return to the warped look. A heat gun might help it when bending it into a better shape. Mike
