What size are the tank bag bolts(hold toolbag to gas tank) for my 71 125? I tried a 6mmx1.00 it would not start, or thread had to much paint/rust. I tried what I believed was a 5 mm, to small. Are these metric threads? Thanks kc

Tank Bolts should be 6mm, buy a cheap 22cal rifle cleaning brush and can chuck up in a var. speed drill, use some penetrating oil and go slow !!!
