Title: Steel Tanker Seat
Post by: tofriedel on January 21, 2014, 10:55:06 AM
I am in need of a steel tanker short (16") seat for one of my project bikes.  I really need the seat base if I cannot get the whole seat.  Anyone have anything?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Years ago, I had the 68/69 short seat bases remade in heavy fiberglas, you might check with Tom Brosius to see if they are still available.  I heard all the castings for the glas products were damaged or destroyed??

Kip,

Tom advises that he only made a seat base for a KRP flat tracker.

Thank you for the lead.

I will have to look for the glas seat base manufacturer then, I had several made back in the 90's for restorations.  I still may have contact info
