We'll be hearing more from him soon.  Lyle Lovett in Boise, Idaho.  Still has a glint of racer in his eyes [8)]

I see Lars Larsson was there too!  Did he race as well?  Nice 125 Lyle has, but why doesn't it have a green tank and a Sachs engine?

Event was the first in a series of races sponsored by the Pacific Northwest Vintage Motocross Group held on April 5th & 6th.  http://www.pnwvmx.org/Home.html  Jack posted a request for a Penton ride for Lyle but... you can see the result.

It would have been nice to see Lyle on a six-day, but by the look of that smile on his face the motorcycle bug runs deep in this one.  I think Todd picked the right guy to narrate the JP story!

Thanks, Dale.  Great photos, great story.  Great looking Husky.  Will always have a soft spot for the small bore - it was my 2nd fantasy bike after the Six Day back in mid-seventies.  With the 175 top end, it's a hoot in the woods.  You just have to start your turn a little early.

I always wanted a small-bore Husky too but had to settle for the Six-Day!!:D
