I sold a ton of NOS Sachs/Hercules stuff out there in the mid 90's when I bought the Flint Indian Sales inventory.:)

A 1970 stock bike would have that style frame and a alloy barrel 5 A motor.

You guys are good. I didn't know the difference. It looks a lot better than the '71 CT70 on Portland's CL for 1/2 the price though.

AAAAccck ! Nice exhaust, but wrong. Apparently there is no WD 40 ,oil , barns or garages in Oregon.
  I'm not a big fan of rust colored bikes, any bike Builder
can attest to the hidden consequences
