Title: Steel Tanker Parts Needed
Post by: Keith Meatyard on May 04, 2014, 07:11:18 PM
I am looking for a few parts to detail a 71 Six Days for myself.  I need original foot pegs, original throttle and clutch cables, and I think the handle bars are not correct ones.  How do you tell the originals?  Also need the long seat trim, I think they are 14" long?

Thanks,
Keith

Keith,

I had Motion Pro make up throttle, clutch and brake cables for the Steel Tankers earlier this year.  I am pretty sure they kept the specs.  About $35 per cable.  Contact their cable department for information.

Parmabike usually has the bars listed on Ebay.  There is currently no listing which means it expired and he hasn't put it back on or he is out of stock.  They are high quality if you are looking for a really nice set [8D]
Sent you an email on the cables.
