Guys, I'm just finishing up a restoration on a nice 73 Six Day. Its running a stock Bing Carb and motor with a Carl Cranke style Circle F pipe. The bike was running very rich so I dropped the intermediate needle down from the #3 to the #1 position to lean it out and it improved quite a bit. Still seems to be running a bit rich so I'm wondering if I need to drop the main jet down from 140 to 135 or so. Living here in the Rockies we do most of our riding at 4,000 to 6,000 feet elevation so things typically run a little richer than at sea level. Thought I would ask the experts if you have any suggestions for Carb tuning.
Thanks - Cal
