I have done a similar repair by welding up the large end of the swingarm bolt oversize, then turning it down to fit. You could also fashion some shim material to take up the slack. Mike

Hi Jerry,

I have a good '76 MC5 frame and swingarm, also a tank and 2 sets of 35mm Marzocci forks I will probably never use as the post vintage class is pretty much nonexistant out here in AHRMA Northwest. Unfortunately I won't be anywhere near Unadilla anytime soon. I would love to trade for a good Sachs B or D motor though.

I have one that the top footpeg mount is broken on the left side, the bottom mount is fine and no cracks or rewelds anywhere, not close to you so would have to be shipped

No problem Jerry, if you do need a frame shipped from somewhere I have heard it's pretty reasonable to use Greyhound

I'm sure if you can't find one closer, you can figure out a good repair.

That frame is a 76 cross country frame, not an MC5. 76-77 MC5 frames start with 550-#####. Mike
