its was a great event! the pre-screen party. the film itself,(which was fantastic) all the usual suspects... and a wonderful after party. it was all good... i was proud to be there... chi jer
It's official. The movie has been made, it made it's Premier showing last night at the OHIO Theater in Downtown Cleveland. There were over 800 people in attendance who were witness to it with many who's who of the Penton and dirt bike world in attendance. One word sums up this movie "WOW"!!! [:p]
This movie is based on the John Penton book. I you like the book, then this movie will knock your socks off. You have to see it to believe it. There only 2 ways you will be able to see this movie. On the big screen at a local theater or on DVD. Don't wait for the DVDs to come out later this year. Take the initiative to get this movie shown at your local theater. This is an independent film with no connection to the theater distribution channels. The only way it will be shown is by getting your friends and family to commit to buying a ticket on line on the "Gathr" web site.

Will a Blu Ray DVD be available down the road?
I have a dvd coming through the kick starter campaign, and am also heading up the viewing party in Indianapolis. We still have a couple weeks till our viewing. :(

I don't know for sure but, I would assume that since blue ray is the next generation for videos, it should be in the offering.
I don't know if you have enough enthusiasts in your area to get a screening at your local theater. If not, I would recommend that you book tickets for you and your wife at the Indy showing. And make sure that Forest and his wife get tickets. You may have to buy the tickets for him in that he is "old school" and doesn't know how to work a computer. There are many familiar people in this movie that you will recognize.[:0]

Just picked up Cheri and I a set of tickets for the Indy viewing, will have to check with Forest and Marge as it may be past their bed time!!:D The Indy theatre sure sounds nice!
