Title: rusted cap nut screw
Post by: SETH on July 10, 2014, 12:40:54 PM
hello, has anyone had any luck removing badly rusted fork cap nut screws? theres not really any slot left for a screw driver tip to grab. beside that the caps look like they will clean up nice. oh yeah, this is on a 1974 six day (project). thanks

You can also clean up the slot with a small grinding wheel to get a better fit for the driver.
