Gentlemen hey

I was riding my 74 1/2 250 KTM, and I was heading for a win which was lovely.... mostly because there was nobody in my class, and trying to catch up to the amateurs HELLO - been out of this too long, with a hip replacement and everything

anyway, back to me - I suddenly noticed I couldn't shift
looked down between corners, and noticed that the end of the shifter had broken off -

so this is the 74.5 bike with the laid down shocks - which I think doesn't make any difference to the motor - and trying to decide if I should canvas this scene here, and see if anybody has a shifter I can pick up - mine is a big strange cool curved shape - but I noticed that somebody had done some home welding so it must have broken at some previous time...

advice or a spare shifter, anybody?
