Title: Bob Bean Hospitalized
Post by: Mick Milakovic on July 30, 2014, 08:56:33 PM
Hi All, Bob Bean had surgery from three heart attacks a couple days ago, one out of the hospital and two while in.  Here is his comment from Facebook:

Hi everyone..Still here in ICU, But Should get moved later today, Had 2 heart attacks while here, but they werent as bad as the first one..I tried willing them away ! Only partially worked.. They put a couple stents in, so I should be better than ever... Should I tell the Doc, I am racing a AMA National This week at Walnut ill? Hmmm Better not....(tell him that is.) Just gotta watch that Femoral artery.... That would pump out a lot of blood in a hurry..! Dad went out the front door as I came in the emergency entrance...Just missed each other by minutes.. He started his radiation treatment yesterday, so Thanks everyone for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers... See you at the races!..... Bob

Wow, I always hate to hear news like that, but old dirt riders are some of the toughest around!  Here is to a speedy recovery Bob.

Bob, wish you a quick recovery! My good friend Jim Golliher (Toledo ) tells me that you'll be back racing very soon!

Keep in mind Bob was released from the hospital July 31st, just a couple days prior.... [:0]

"I listened to my Doctor and exercised 4 times today.. 1st time easy. slow. 2nd time faster harder. Had EMS check me out.. 3rd time easy again, 4th time hard and FAST !"
