Title: Steel Tanker OEM Handlebars
Post by: tofriedel on August 05, 2014, 10:04:13 AM
Keith Meatyard (POG member) has been having a discussion with Roberto at Parmabike about reproducing the handlebars for the Steel Tank Pentons.

His latest communication with Roberto was that he (Roberto) needed a commitment to purchase 50 of the these bars.  Anything less than 50 is a NO GO.

Do we have X number of members that are willing to commit to the purchase of 50 sets of thes bars??? I expect the price will be around $129.00 each.

I will commit to one at this time.

Hi,

won't the Fehling handlebar 7883 CLN from Germany be suitable?
Made and chromed in Germany.
Will be each around USD 45 plus shipping.

Yes, they would be suitable, but if your are trying to make your project conform to the original equipment. it would not be acceptable.

FLY made some bars that are very close to original, but they use a cross hatch knurling on the bars instead of the serrated knurling.
