Title: 6B Kickstarter Stop Screw

What tool does everyone use to remove or tighten the kickstart stop screw  ( you know the one in the bottom of the engine you are not to remove ) .. thks BT

Great question Brian.  Al may have the correct tool (socket).  But the fact that I have seen people loosen this with just a normal set of sockets leads me to believe you can probably loosen it with a socket....just skewed at a angle?  If not call Al or I will see if I have a spare.

Is there a special tool from Sachs [:0]  ????  got a picture of it ?.... Of the 15 or so motors I have done I always struggle with  a 17mm socket but it just isnt correct ... BT

Check out item #191296358299 on Ebay, I think that is what you need.

Yes I think that is the tool but for the cost ( by the time I get to Canada ) I think I will try to make something ...  Thks for all the replies .. Brian

I take them out all the time with a socket...  OCD ?  lol
