Title: Lectron Carbs
Post by: Lee Brown on September 07, 2014, 09:51:12 AM
Hey Poggers does arhma allow the Newer Lectron carbs with internal power jet system to be used on Historic class machines 1977 ktm.
I did look in the rule book and it staded that Lectron carbs where encouraged in the historic class. They did also say that the Del-ordo carbs with accelerator pump were not allowed or need to be disconnected or removed.
Is the Lectron carb with power jet also a accelerator pump type mechanism.
The rules just dont state specifically that Lectron Carbs[with power jet system is not permitted for historic class machines]
I found this on Page 77 section d ARHMA Rule Book

At one time a power jet circuit (on any carb) was not legal, but it is now for Historic or newer. Accelerator pumps are prohibited, but a power jet works passively on vacuum so it is allowed.
