Title: Transportation needed from Denver to Phoenix.
Post by: dwighthouse on October 08, 2014, 08:01:33 PM
Anyone headed south from the Denver area. Buying a bike from Tom and thought I would go pick it up but doing the math it's going to get expensive running my Suburban up there and back. Give me a call if anyone is headed this way please.

I am going to Parker, Co. from Illinois next Friday, Oct. 17th, which is 23 miles from the center of Denver, then back East across to Illinois if it would help to get it to someone going South from anywhere along the trip back. [email protected] cell ph. with text 618-553-1346 Mike

Bill Orth is a trusted partner based in Denver.  He might be able to get it to Oklahoma for you [?]

Feeling lucky? I am once again offering transport of bikes (or big parts) to or from the ISDT Reunion Ride in Tulsa later this month. Leaving Denver on the 22nd. I will be passing through Wichita, Stillwater and OKC on the way. What'cha got?

Looks like both of you are going the wrong way. I appreciate the support though. If I can't find anyone headed this way it will just have to be an excuse to take some needed vacation time.

Technically Tulsa is south of Denver :D   Richard Yamane is coming from California to the same ISDTRR event.  Can a double transport be arranged with the possibility of meeting you along I40 on his way back?

That would be great. Flagstaff is only 2 hours up the hill from here. Let me know how I can make that happen.

Here is a copy of my email to Bill and Richard.  They both typically transport bikes to and from events and advertise space at a modest charge to offset their travel expenses.

Subject:  Moving bike from Denver to I-40 Tuscon-ish.

One of the POG members has bought a bike from Tom (assuming Brocius) in Denver and is asking if someone is traveling south to Phoenix.  Bill do you have space for one to the RR and Rico do you have space for one and can do a meet and swap along I-40 on the way home?
