Okay, Here are the details for Saturday November 1st. I will be hosting a Pig roast/ride from 10:00am to 10:00pm @ the Penton ranch here in Amherst.
Bring your Pentons! Riding starts @ 10:00. We have a fun mile and a half loop through the woods. Hare scrambles type course, not too tight or difficult.
The pig should be ready to eat around 2:00pm with hay rides for the kids and all.
J.P. will be tending the bonfire, so if the weather is cold and rainy, everyone can stay warm.
There will be a food tent to keep everything dry. Bring your own drinks and a dish to share if you like or a donation towards the pig.
Please e-mail me here @ work with questions or google 45640 Telegraph Road, Elyria, 44035 for directions. [email protected]
Hope to see you then[:p]

Jerry,

Just can't thank you enough for all the effort you put into making the "Penton Ranch Ride & Roast" such a memorable day..

I think J.P. elevated the temperature in the surrounding country and even part of Lake Erie with his bonfire...:D

Thanks again..
Paul

My wife joined me for her first trip to Amherst.  I routed us by the KTM building so she could see where we hold the POG meetings and the facilities there.  From there we took a quick tour of Pentonville and I showed her where everything all began including the machine shop, converted chicken coop dealership, John's home, and the later "new" building dealership across the way.  Always a must we stopped at the Penton market and picked up some sweets and treats.  The pumpkin cake is awesome and this morning a dab of Penton's apple butter on my toast kickstarted what I hope is a great day [:p]  Photos below were cut and pasted from Heather's social media page.  As always it was great to see Heather and George and all the rest of the crew!  Absent is a photo of the gigantic main bonfire tended by the big guy himself :)

White tent in the background made for a nice warming center and contained several tables of good food and warm drinks!

Somethings a little different about this bike on it's way to Pennsylvania.  Can you spot it?

Hello! I know we are all still smiling from weekend:) I want to convey my personal thanks to everyone for making the pig roast one of the most memorable days of the year.
The inch of rain from the night before made for a slick trail and the water crossings deep. Eventually the sun peeked out and the trail tacked up.(Could have been from the bon fire!) The food tent was a popular hang out with all the delicious food & heat! I know JP enjoyed your company and seeing the Pentons and other bikes in action.
