Title: Frame numbers Link
Post by: Lee Whiting on December 26, 2014, 10:51:57 AM
That link to look at frame numbers has been down since I've tried to access a couple of weeks now. Any idea when that will become available again. Thank you, I'm trying to look up V5356 Steel Tanker in that sequence of numbers.

I sent an inquiry to the link on that page, asking about 2 weeks ago and did not hear back.

Thank you, I'll keep checking to see when it is back up running. Would anyone have it in an email format that they could forward to me. Appreciate it.

I made a few notes a couple of months ago while researching my Steel Tanker Project. Looks like 1970 bikes start with V2117 to V4577. 1971 bikes start with frame #V4578 on up. Hope this helps.

This information was in some of Doug Wilford's old files.  I'm not 100% positive it matches the link information though.

Thank you. This is Tom Carmichaels bike that he'd started, I'm looking to finish this and share once it's sorted out and done. Doug Wilford had done the motor and tranny rebuild and it's mounted in the frame and the build will be started ASAP.  Happy New Year everyone.
