I own a 76 MC5 250. I bought it in Jan 1977 from the new Aussie importer Bert Flood. This was the beginning of a long relationship with the KTM factory for Bert. Fast forward to the middle of this year and I managed to prise an MC5 400 from my mate Adrian Goold. Until today I hadn't checked the frame numbers. Doing this revealed the 250 is frame #03536 and the 400 is frame #03537 so they both came out in the first shipment of MC5's to Australia.A nice coincidence. Now if the 400 is as good as the 250 I will be very pleased. Happy New Year!
