Title: Lectron Carb Rebuild
Post by: Monty on July 25, 2002, 12:13:29 PM
I am currently rebuilding my 36mm Lectron carb, and have found every part I need, with the exception of one. I need to find an O-ring that fits onto the slide and holds the needle in place. Has anyone experienced this problem before? I was told that it would need to be sent in to the manufacturer and have another slide fit for the carb, in a new style w/out the O-ring, but this would defeat the purpose of rebuilding it myself and saving some $$. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Monty,

Unless I am mistaken, the O-ring does nothing but allow the needle to stay in place.  If so, either find an old carb & take the O-ring from it or go to your local hardware store & find an O-ring to match the orginal.

Good Luck,

Tony
