A plastic yellow number plate was used as on the GS 76 models.
77 GS6 I beleive as well...
Most 77 GS-6 models came with the one piece integral molded plastic headlight numberplate as shown in the brochure, and was also used in white on the 78 KTM GS-6, but some possible early units had the large metal headlight and separately attached plastic crescent shaped number plate. Here is an all original 77 GS-6 pic that was emailed to me for original cable routing reference info, followed by a Jackpiner with the metal headlight with separate numberplate. Mike
