Have a small crack in the axle clamp on left leg. Anyone have spare fork bottom to suit for sale?

Hi Mike
I am experienced in Magnesium welding and have the equipment in my shed. How do they stand up once welded? I just assumed they crack again?

The small pinch bolts should only be snug, most get over tightened which cause the cracking. You should "V" out the cracks before welding and they should be OK. Mike

You might want to slide the axle in there to be sure it is set correctly.....
