I am at the stage of recovering the seat,and I have seen the early seats that are a smooth fabric and I have seen seats that are pleated,does anyone know which one is correct? If they are pleated, what is the distance between the pleats?

This came up before, I have seen them both ways but all of the "68" bikes I had (around 10 or so) were smooth original covers.

Thanks Kip, that is what I have seen the most of.Trying to do things correctly.
