Title: 125 piston needed 55.5
Post by: Dom Sileo on June 09, 2015, 04:56:00 PM
Hello POG members,

I am in dire need of a 55.5 Elco or Mahle piston for my 1974 Penton racer. Also interested in any ceramic coated options that may be out there. Any information or leads would be very much appreciated. Would trade Steeltanker parts for the right piston(s)..

Thanks Mickey.  Jake is officially out of 55.5.....closest he had was 55.75 but that would be my next and last bore so I didn't want to go there yet if I didn't have too.

Her's another option I know Husky guys are using and I almost ordered one. Wossner forged pistons, they are coated. They were on back order at the time I needed one, so that's why I didn't order one. There's a distributor in California. 714-369-8879

Thanks again. I'll check into Wossner. Sounds like a decent option to me.

I have  55.5 piston with intake window port, and believe it for a KTM eng or cylinder modified with reed valve intake if any interest in it.   Can contact me thru POG site mail.

No, I didn't Mickey. They were still on back order.  I found a Kolban  and a Mahle...I would like to try one of the Wossners myself.
