I bought a Penton 125 recently. The motor is in a box. It's a later model with a plastic tank. I'm laid up from a Achellis Tendon repair surgery right now so I'd need somebody close by who could come pick it up. I'm in Seattle. I can post pics later. I don't know if I'll be able to race next year or not yet but I'd like to have the bike ready in time.

What year is the Penton. Is it a sachs motor? What needs to be done. Rod, piston,bottom end?

Mine is a 74 125 D engine. I just believe it needs rebuilt top and btm end. Then I know it will be ready to go. I just put in a new clutch and got a new Bing carb.

I will be at the vintage races at Washougal on Saturday the 22nd, Come on down and check out my penton's in action. Bring your motor so I can take a look at it.
