I will be there - probably on my Jackpiner because of spark arrester requirement. My first two day event with bikes gettting impounded at end of day. I have been practicing changing flat tires all weekend.

No I haven't. :D

Actually wondering if I can get away with 5-6 gals of gas for both days. What say you, wise ones?

I was planning on going but I couldn't find a decent hotel
for less than $170 a night. I'm riding Michaux dual-sport instead.

Lew (others) meant to post this which I shared with AHRMA NA today, I called before lunch and "Carol" gave me a family and friends rate of $130. Give 'em a shout. IF no luck, send me an email ([email protected]).

"Word to the wise - it is college check-n weekend in Ithaca (Cornell, Ithaca Colllege). Auburn is best bet BUT the Econolodge in Ithaca still has 4 rooms left if you call directly (online shows none). I was able to avoid the college rate (250!!) by identifying myself as a motorcycle racer visiting the area AND a Democrat. Okay FINE, I didn't indicate my party affiliation, just my lifestyle preference."

Had I known this sooner, I would loved to have gone there. I really wanted to ride King Ferry but at the time, I couldn't find a decent room for $130. So I had to make a decision so I could get signed up for Michaux. Let us know how it was.

There are 1/2 doz options for rooms in Auburn NY, should have been able to find inexpensive room for a couple of nights.
