I was just riding mine labor day and she ran like a dream. Very flat and not much elevation in Indiana though. I'll try and check my settings before I leave this weekend on the old Triumph for a trip to Kentucky.

I assume you're using a Bing 84?

165 main jet
283 needle jet
45 pilot jet

What problems exactly are you having? If it is rich and you cant fix it with the needle clip setting then you have a worn needle jet/needle combination (very very common on Bings) and they need to be replaced as a set.

the problem is the bike starts to blubber like it is running rich on hills and elevation changes tried different carb, different jet and float settings no change, replaced float n needled new pilot new needle and needle jet did not check timing or coil maybe next.
