Ok so now after a new clutch, new carb, all new cables, new petcocks, new fuel lines, new wiring, new exhaust packing, new intake flange, etc the 74 Penton 125 is running strong - started on the first kick this morning and the bogging is gone. I put the needle jet UNDER the plastic piece in the slide (it was inside the plastic piece from Bing!!) in effect lowering the needle and its revving great - must have been too rich.
Now if only i could get it to shift better.........

I still have the Dirt Rider poster of Tom P doing a wheelie along the railway tracks on the 74 Six Days on my shed wall. Any chance CC as the photo is a beaut.
Cheers Bill
