Title: 125 Cylinder Porting
Post by: Ed Barth on October 03, 2015, 03:18:25 PM
Saw a cylinder for sale on eBay with some unique porting that even the seller wasn't sure of. Have any of you seen porting like this?

Look at this on eBay
PENTON KTM CYLINDER JUG 125 SIX DAY OEM VINTAGE AHRMA 54ZN5W1 MX

I'm looking for a spare cylinder to have ready for the next rebuild.

Thanks guys,

This cylinder has been on auction for quite some time with no comments.  In my opinion it looks doubtful it would work.

A pretty rough job of boost porting. I am sure it would "work", but may decrease piston/ring life.
